There is a wonderful resource for information in regard to your career and college questions.
It Is called the Nevada Career Information System (NCIS). It is a free service to all Nevada residents.
The only thing you need is a computer. To go onto the system you type www.nvcis.intocareers.org it will show you 2 options. You choose number 2 putting in Las Vegas, your zip code and 702 as the area code.
Once this information is typed in your journey will begin and the wealth of knowledge is unending. Just some examples of information that is available: Names of colleges throughout the United States with current tuition fees, courses and degrees available. All occupations with programs of study, salaries, current potential for future employment, resumes, apprenticeship programs, educational planning, and assessment links. Assessment links will help any student to find out where their interests lie and what directions they should look into.
